Wisconsin Conservatory of Music kicking off new season with two special concerts | Arts & Culture

The Wisconsin Conservatory of Music will be presenting two special concerts on August 26 and August 27. They are doing this to kickoff their 2011-12 season.
The first performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th. It's the second annual Music Therapy Benefit Concert. It will include: Ravel's "Chansons Madecasses" (Songs of Madagascar), Hoover's "Summer Night," Brahms' "Horn Trio," and a Hummel trio.
The next night will be a Cuban Ernán López on the piano, Jorge Alexander on bass and Jimmy Brandley on drums. This concert will also began at 7:30 p.m.
It will all take place in the Helen Bader Recital Hall. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased by calling 414-276-5760.
