Traffic advisory: Jimmy Buffet concert to see 30,000 attendees

The Jimmy Buffet Concert will be a lot of fun, but also proposes a logistical nightmare for Walworth County Sheriff's deputies, local authorities and road crews trying to get work done on a multi-mile stretch of Interstate 43 near Bowers Road. The concert is proposed to draw nearly 30,000 fans of  the recording industry giant with many coming from all over the FOX 6 viewing area.

Musical legend Jimmy Buffett performs at Alpine Valley Music Theatre Saturday, June 25 at 8 p.m. The Walworth County Sheriff's Office has issued a traffic advisory for the entire area.

Road construction is underway on I-43 between Elkhorn and the Waukesha County line in both directions. Additionally, the Highway D bridge is being replaced.
