Kenny Loggins, Beach Boys play Walworth County Fair Aug. 28 - Sept. 2

Jerrod Niemann, the Oak Ridge Boys, Kenny Loggins and the Beach Boys bring classic entertainment to this years 164th Annual Walworth County Fair. The WalCo Fair is still the largest county fair in the state of Wisconsin.

Walworth County Fair kicks off Wednesday, August 28 and runs through Monday, September 2, 2013 in Elkhorn.

There is always a plethora of culinary choices, games, amusements and rides on the midway at the Walworth County Fair. 4H fans can enjoy juried animal and livestock shows all six days.

Circus returns to Delavan July 28 at Lake Lawn Resort Airport

Carson & Barnes Big Top Circus will be coming to Delavan Sunday, July 28, 2013. The first show is at 2:00 p.m. and the second show at 5:00 p.m. The circus will take place at Lake Lawn Resorts Airport, 2375 E. Geneva St., Delavan.
Delavan is famously known as the 19th Century Circus Capital when big names in circus entertainment like P.T. Barnum, James Anthony Bailey and the Ringling Brothers used to call Walworth County home for the winter, many years ago.

The event will feature elephant and camel rides and a free petting zoo all to take place on the circus midway. For more information, visit the circus website.

Dustin Lynch, Little Big Town, Keith Urban, The Roys, Parmalee and Morgan  Frazier will entertain crowds of country music lovers Friday, July 19, 2013 at the 21st Annual Country Thunder Music Festival at Shadow Hill Ranch, 2305 Lance Dr., Twin Lakes.

According to organizers, the event was completely sold out when it opened Thursday afternoon. Extremely warm temperatures couldn't keep music fanatics away from acts like Dierks Bentley, Bella Cain, Brad Paisley, Jake Owen or Hunter Hayes.

Country Thunder rolls into Twin Lakes July 18-21

Country music lovers won't want to miss the Country Thunder Music Festival happening now at Shadow Hill Ranch, near the Illinois border in Southeastern Wisconsin.

Country Thunder makes its yearly stop in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21, 2013. Just a 70-mile drive from Chicago, the event packs in four days of country music entertainment that just can't be beat!

Dierks Bentley headlines the main stage Thursday evening. Keith Urban appears Friday. Phil Vassar who was at Milwaukee Summerfest appears after Bella Cain Saturday. Brad Paisley ends the evening. Hunter Hayes and Jake Owen close the the annual, music festival on Sunday, at the main stage.

Guinness world record attempt happens June 23, Lake Geneva

Vespa and scooter enthusiasts and their fans can participate in a Guinness world record attempt for the largest scooter parade on the planet. The rally happens Saturday, June 23, 2012. The parade kicks off at 11:00 a.m.

Participation is free to anyone who will be driving any type of scooter in the parade. For those who don't wish to ride in the parade, it's a great opportunity to watch the event and be a part of history in the making.

The two-mile route through historic Lake Geneva will have a police escort. It ends with a celebration at Flatiron Park in the City of Lake Geneva. Coordinators hope to have 1,000 Vespas and scooters of all types participate.

Country Thunder roars into Wisconsin July 21-24

Country music fans dust off your cowboy hats, shine your boots and get on those jeans and faded shirts. The 2011 Country Thunder Concert Series saddles up and rides into Twin Lakes July 21 through 24.

Some of C & W's hottest music acts from yesterday and today take two to stages over a fun-filled, all-American, four-day period. Folks will be camping out right on the grounds, enjoying tailgaiting, the beautiful Wisconsin Summer weather and nights under the stars. The sounds of country crooners like Lady Antebellum, Lorrie Morgan, Josh Turner, Rascal Flatts, The Charlie Daniel's Band and many more will play into the early morning hours.
